"Perianal perforating disease is a clinical subtype of Crohn's disease defined by current or previous evidence of either perianal fistulae or abscesses or rectovaginal fistula."

I have two children with CD and a third on the way. My dd is 23yo, diagnosed 11/05, anti-TNF refractory, small bowel resection, colitis, psoraisis, IBD-related arthritis, and excessive pain and fatigue. My ds is 16 yo, diagnosed 04/11, with entire GI tract involvement following acute episode with 20% loss of body weight and severe anemia. My other ds is 13 yo with history of silent GERD, pseduo small bowel obstruction, eosonophilic infiltrates of esophagus and duodenum, slow gastric motility, and chronic constipation. I am a SAHM with a background in social science research.
